Beihang University has published the 2027 application terms for its Chinese Government Scholarship High-level Postgraduate Program. The university also lists bilateral, Youth of Excellence, Belt and Road, China Link, Chinese language teacher, Beijing Government and Beihang-funded routes, but not every route has published a 2027 application notice.

Chinese Government Scholarship: High-level Postgraduate Program
This full-time scholarship supports master's and doctoral study. Beihang selects and recommends candidates before the China Scholarship Council makes the final scholarship decision.
The scholarship covers tuition, university accommodation or an accommodation subsidy, a monthly stipend and comprehensive medical insurance. International travel is not included. The 2027 Q&A lists a monthly stipend of CNY 3,000 for master's students and CNY 3,500 for doctoral students. Off-campus accommodation support is listed as CNY 700 per month for master's students and CNY 1,000 per month for doctoral students.
2027 application schedule
Applications opened on November 1, 2026. Beihang reviews applications in three batches:

Registration is scheduled for September 2027. Master's programs normally last two to three years; doctoral programs last four years.
Eligibility and language requirements
Applicants must be citizens of a country other than China and meet Beihang's health and academic requirements. Master's applicants must hold a bachelor's degree and be under 35. Doctoral applicants must hold a master's degree and be under 40.
Chinese-taught programs require HSK 5 with at least 180. Applicants with HSK 3 or 4 may apply for a one-year Chinese-language program where the selected major allows it, then must reach HSK 5 with at least 180 before degree study.
English-taught programs accept IELTS Academic 6.0, TOEFL 90 or Duolingo 105, with scores issued within the preceding two years. Beihang recommends including a GRE score when available.
Application Route
Applicants must submit matching applications in both systems:
- Complete the Beihang International Student Online Application System.
- Complete the Chinese Government Scholarship Information System using
Type Band Beihang agency number10006. - Select the same major in both systems and obtain an acceptance letter from a Beihang supervisor.
- Upload the required academic, language, health and identity documents to both systems.
- Pay the CNY 400 non-refundable application fee by the accepted bank-remittance route.
- Attend the document review, preliminary interview and academic interview arranged for the applicable batch.
The application file includes the scholarship form, passport page, degree evidence, transcripts, language certificate, supervisor acceptance letter, a study plan of more than 1,000 words, two academic recommendations, physical examination, recent non-criminal record, integrity commitment and CV. Documents not issued in Chinese or English require notarized translation.

These routes use different applicant groups and submission channels. A listing on the scholarship directory does not establish that a route is open for 2027. Applicants should use the route-specific notice and the admission guide for the intended degree before preparing an application.
Prepare the Application
- Choose the degree, teaching language and scholarship route before creating an application.
- For the 2027 High-level Postgraduate Program, work to the relevant batch deadline and use the final January 22 deadline only when necessary.
- Contact a prospective supervisor early enough to obtain the required acceptance letter.
- Keep the major, supervisor and uploaded documents consistent across the Beihang and CSC systems.
- Arrange notarization, recommendations, physical examination and non-criminal record within their validity periods.
- Treat university recommendation and the final CSC scholarship decision as separate stages.
