Chinese Government Scholarship Routes

“Study at SCU” Outstanding Student Scholarship
The SCU scholarship page directs applicants to the SCU international student application system and provides separate undergraduate, master's and doctoral program catalogs. Select the intended study level first, then confirm that the scholarship option appears for the chosen program and intake.
The current page does not publish a complete 2027 award table, deadline or funding package. Do not assume that coverage is the same across study levels or that it matches a Chinese Government Scholarship.
International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship
The available guide covers the 2026 award cycle and includes one-semester study beginning in March 2027. Under that guide, the March 2027 application deadline was October 31, 2026, followed by host and recommending institution review. This is a cycle-specific language-study entry and does not establish the dates for a new September 2027 intake.
The same guide states that the scholarship covers tuition, accommodation, a living allowance and comprehensive medical insurance, except that four-week study does not receive a living allowance. Funding and eligibility must be checked again against the notice for the intended intake.
Build a Reliable 2027 Application Plan
- Choose the study level, program and teaching language before selecting a scholarship route.
- Distinguish Type A nomination from SCU-directed Type B applications.
